He is an admitted attorney with vast experience and a number of qualifications to his name. He graduated from the University of Witwatersrand, completing his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in 1998, then followed that up with a Master of Laws (LLM) – Company Law, Media Law and Advanced Comparative Human Rights Law in 1999. Aside from the legal qualifications, he has qualifications which allow him an added advantage and experience within the corporate and business environment.
He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management –
Business Administration (PDM) which he completed with the Wits Business School in 2004. He also completed his international assignment in London for a period of 6 months, thus gaining international experience within the corporate legal environment.
He has over 10 years of corporate legal experience in different industries like broadcasting / media, telecoms and fast moving consumer goods (FMCG). The experience he is investing in Tshepo Kgoele Attorneys derives from the contribution he made, to mention a few:
· in the SABC Sports conclusion of a sponsorship deal with the Premier Soccer League for the 2002 – 2007 broadcast rights;
· in the SABC’s submission to ICASA in respect of the Sports Broadcasting Right;
· in the SABC’s Corporate Governance project and heading up the sub-project of Legal
· while at Diageo South Africa, at strategic level, where he provided legal support for Diageo’s route to market (RTM) and distribution strategy in the Southern African and Indian Ocean Islands market
As a result of the above experience, we have the expertise to provide commercial legal services ranging from contracts to advisory services covering topics around due diligence and compliance,anti-trust and competition, bribery and corruption and anti-money laundering.
